So I started importing in smaller batches and it seemed to stop the freezing at least, so that was good progress. I did the whole plug and replug song and dance again and not sure what fixed it this time either.
Tried to import all the photos in once batch again and it got up to another 600 photos imported and it froze again. Eventually it started seeing it again and not sure how. I restarted my computer, I restarted Image Capture, etc. I tried multiple combos of unplugging/replugging from the phone, from the dongle, from the usb in different sequences to see if something would work. I restarted image capture, same as you did and it showed up as zero images. Mine stopped at around 1,300 photos (out of over 10,000). I've been struggling with this problem as well. Is there any other software which I can use to get my images onto the computer? There is no refresh button or anything like that and I could not find an answer for this issue in the forum. It is empty and claims 0 items.īut I can still see all the photos on my phone.
Plugged phone back in via usb but no change, Image Capture sees the device but no images. I updated all the software on both devices and also restarted both. Still on the phone but not in the software. This is when it happened, all of a sudden, Image Capture did not display a single image, they all disappeared.
Even though the programs message displayed ongoing conversion and importing of images, none were added in the designated folder - i triple checked. I started the Import with Image Capture, but after around 1000 images it stopped working. I'm having some trouble getting all my images and videos off my phone and onto my mac.Īdmittedly there is a lot of volume (big holiday) but that should not be a problem, right!? I have plenty of space.
